Leona is a graduate of the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and Cornell University. At Cornell, Leona completed and defended her undergraduate thesis concerning children’s involvement in the legal system to graduate with honors.
While in law school, Leona worked as a Certified Legal Intern to successfully defend a guardianship case in the Health Law Clinic, in addition to her internships in the Philadelphia Defenders Association, the Family Law Unit of Philadelphia Legal Assistance, and in the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Leona also served as Teaching Assistant for Trial Advocacy and participated in moot court competitions. She was acknowledged for her work as a research assistant in Family Law Arbitration: Practice, Procedure, and Forms, published by the American Bar Association.
Prior to joining ARM Lawyers, Leona served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Arthur L. Zulick in the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas.
Leona currently serves on the Board of Directors for Monroe County Habitat for Humanity. She also volunteers as an Attorney Advisor for East Stroudsburg North High School’s Mock Trial team and is involved with various committees of the Monroe County Bar Association.
