Alexandria R. Melendez was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Hartford and, in May 2025, graduated from the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. During law school, Alexandria served as president of the Tax Law Society and managed a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) clinic. She was also an active member of the Student Bar Association and the Curriculum Committee. Upon graduation, she received an award recognizing her “exemplary contributions to the growth of the law center.”
